MINUTES
1) and 2) Discuss name options and select name of group: StartWest
.org, .info & .net were registered by Anne Gunn on her Go Daddy Account for two years at a cost of $50.
3) Mission statement discussion and selection:
Building intellectual capital and business opportunities.
4) Progress of the WIKI
o Site can be set up and running within a couple of hours (Friday a.m. or early afternoon)
o Anne will be a week or two to put things together.
o ACT is contributing bandwidth on Golden West Server.
o Wyolution will put 2-3 designs together for background.
o MediaWIKI (software) is open source and will be used, since it is the most commonly used and known.
o When WIKI is up and running, and when the content is consistently being updated, get media involved with a press release, as well as links to Wyoming Technology Organization and SBIR.
5) Communication options available in lieu of e-mails o Wikipedia captures and documents results
o Company articles will go on the WIKI
o Free-flow comments work best in Blogs
o Blog add-ins are available in the WIKI
o Conversations need to be through Blog interface
